HORTICULTURE COMPETITION
Didi Emmons has been a chef and award winning cookbook author
for over 30 years. Her third cookbook, “Wild Flavors”, is a celebration
from ten years of visiting farmer Eva Sommaripa. The book covers 46
of Didi’s favorite herbs, greens, weeds, and foraged plants that Eva
and her staff sell, as well as Eva’s quirky eco-conscious lifestyle. Didi
and Eva will share their love of growing, preparing, and eating these
plants. Eva Sommaripa has been running a successful certified organic
farm, Eva’s Garden, for over 45 years in South Dartmouth, and is
considered an expert on growing herbs.
